India is a rich country of varied historical monuments, culture hill stations, natural beauty, Havelies, backwaters, national parks, wildlife, forts & palaces and many more. These wonderful forts, palaces and attractions are the fine example of architectural marvel of the previous craftsman. At the first sight tourist can be captivated by the awesome beauty of India with Rajputs forts & palaces. If you come under the ambience of these majestic and sprawling forts and palaces of India, you can find yourself amidst of the regal atmosphere of the bygone period. Today, these charming and wonderful forts and palaces have been turned into the heritage hotels in order to provide its guests a great experience the princely lifestyle.

The most famous five destinations of both international and national tourists are Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Andra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Agra Fort: Agra which is most famous for the host city of Taj Mahal is also prominent for being home to Agra Fort. The walls of Agra fort are made of with red sandstone. This fort has a pillared Diwan-E-Am which is constructed by Shah Jahan. There are some of palaces such as Jahangiri Mahal, Khas Mahal, Macchi Bhavan, Shish Mahal, Shah Jahani Mahal, Rang Mahal, Shahi and Musmman Burj etc.

Red fort: Delhi’s Red fort is also known as the Lal Quilla which was build by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 A.D. Because of its architectural brightness and important history, it has obtained the status of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2007. Except this all there are some very important buildings that are Diwan-i-Aam, a large exhibition area for public regal audiences, Nahr-i-Behisht etc.  

There are some other most eminent forts like Amber Fort, Gwalior Fort, Golconda Fort and many other which never fail to allure the tourists form all over the world.

Coming to the famous palaces, the first name that comes in mind is City Palace which is one of the significant monuments of Jaipur. Other worth visiting places of India which can be explored with Rajputs forts & palaces are Lake Palace, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mysore Palace and the like that grab the attention of visitors.
